The convention celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month and kicks off National Singles Week.
Author Rich Gosse will deliver the bilingual Keynote Address, Looking for Love in All the Right Places, (Buscando Amor en Todos Los Lugares Correctos), with author Rich Gosse, who is Hispanic. Dance Party follows, with live DJ.
Mr. Gosse will reveal the 3 rules for finding love:
1. Get out of the house (Fuera de la casa.)
2. Go where the ducks are (Ir donde los patos son.)
3. Initiate Contact (Iniciar el contacto.)
Rich Gosse is the author of eight books on dating, including You CAN Hurry Love, Singles Guide to the Bay Area, and A Good Man Is EASY to Find “This is a great book!” Oprah Winfrey). National Hispanic Heritage Month, September 15 to October 15, celebrates the histories, cultures and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
National Singles Week, September 20-26, is the only week dedicated to the recognition of the special contributions of all singles. The first National Singles Week was in 1982. The week has been declared by official proclamation of Governors throughout America, and is listed in Chase’s Calendar of Events, a directory of such events for the country.
The Hispanic Singles Convention is co-sponsored The Society of Single Professionals, the world’s largest non-profit singles organization; and ten singles meetups. Adults of all ages and all cultures are welcome. The cost is $20/door. Anyone wanting a discount or information about other events for singles may visit www.thepartyhotline.com or call 415-507-9962.
