Duchess Says announces Ontario and US tour dates

Duchess SaysOnce again Duchess Says will hit the road to play three venues on American soil this fall. The band, having already shared the stage with renowned bands all over the world, including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks, Ariel Pink, The Black Lips and The Buzzcocks, tour with none other than landmark rockers Hot Snakes.

Duchess Says will be opening for the Californian band in Washington, DC on November 15th and in Philadelphia on November 18th. The consistently innovative musicians will be joined by Guerilla Toss and Future Punx in Brooklyn on November 16th.

Duchess Says will also play with Yamantaka // Sonic Titan (their first album made the 2012 Polaris prize short list) in Ontario for six dates. In addition to songs from their latest album, Duchess Says will perform tracks from their previous records.

Released on October 14th, 2016 via Bonsound in Canada and Slovenly elsewhere, their latest album Sciences Nouvelles was recorded at Mountain City Studio by Adrian Popovitch and Joseph Donovan, and at St-Hippolyte by Olivier Maguire. Sciences Nouvelles is a great distorted trip that will lead you to a new emotional scientific experiment.
